Please click the “Fair Details” tab to learn more about admission and tickets, parking, and directions. At the Minnesota Antiquarian Book Fair, you’ll find a variety of books printed during several different eras of history. Our fair caters to both experienced and beginning collectors. We host vendors that have decades of experience in bookselling, and they offer items of historical interest and importance. Many of our dealers also pride themselves on offering books and manuscripts connected to underrepresented groups in the historical record.

The Minnesota Antiquarian Book Fair recognizes that we are on Dakota and Anishinaabe land. If you would like to learn more about and support the work of Dakota and Anishinaabe authors, click here or here.

There is more work to be done in making regional and national book fairs accessible and welcoming to communities of color, to folks with disabilities, to the LGBTQ community, and to others who have been excluded by institutional marginalization. Our book fair will strive towards increased accessibility and inclusivity in every way we can.

Our book fair will take place on July 12th and 13th, 2024, in the Anderson Center at Hamline University. Please note: patrons of the book fair are not allowed to bring their own books onto the show floor. This is a security issue. The only books that are allowed to exit the show floor are ones that are purchased and marked with a receipt.
